3. User Responsibilities and Compliance
All users are responsible for ensuring that their activities on the Platform conform to this AUP. In addition:
- Sellers must ensure that their listings are accurate, legally compliant, and do not misrepresent the products or services offered.
- Users must provide valid contact information during registration and maintain accurate, current records.
- Users shall not create duplicate or linked accounts with the intent to circumvent Platform policies or detection systems.
4. Fraud Prevention and Risk Management
To protect the integrity of the Platform and its users, ScanShape UG (haftungsbeschränkt) implements a series of automated and manual measures, including:
- Bot & Automation Prevention: Cloudflare Turnstile challenge verification on the waitlist and account signup forms.
- Automated Keyword Monitoring: Monitoring user-generated content for suspicious keywords or phrases that may indicate fraudulent or abusive behavior.
- Underpricing Anomaly Detection: Identifying listings with prices significantly below typical market value to prevent deceptive practices.
- Secure Hosting and Access Controls: Our backend systems use encrypted storage and restricted administrative access to protect against unauthorized access.
- Email Verification: Waitlist and account signups require confirmation via a verification link before being fully activated.
- Duplicate Account Detection: Automated checks flag suspicious account linkages to prevent mass account creation or fraud.
These measures are regularly reviewed and updated to comply with evolving legal standards and industry best practices.
5. Reporting Violations
